Astro boy was first broadcast on television in Japan from 1963 to 1966. As his anime enjoyed a high level of popularity, each time a train stops at Takadanobaba station in Tokyo, which is actually the closest station where Osamu Tezuka lives, you can hear Astro boy song.

Afro Samurai's father was the old Number One, until he was challenged by a gunman, "Justice" (who was then Number Two), who fought him in a duel to become the new Number One. At the time the gunman challenged his father, Afro was just a child. Detective Conan

Also known as Meitantei Konan in Japan.

Shinichi Kudo, a 16 years high school student hopes to be a private detective. He solves challenging mysteries for police.One day, he is poisoned during an investigation and now shrunk to an elementary school boy, around six years old.




Dr. Agasa, a kind of genius, discover shinichi turned into a child and decide help him to keep this secret. Shinichi prevends to be Conan Edogawa and live in his friend's house,Ran Mouri. Ran's father,Kogorou Mouri,also is a detective but a stupid one.Conan help kogorou using a changing voice bow tie and his watch to help kogorou to solve case. This way, he also try to find the one who poisoned him and get back to his normal life.

Black cat

This manga is about the adventures of Heartnet Train, alias Black Cat, ex-member of Chronos number, an organization controlling one third of the world economy through underground business in various areas . He through its Hades revolver, made in horihalcon, indestructible material.

The Chronos numbers represent an elite group of assassin. At its head number 0, Willzark followed by 13 others.

Hunter X Hunter

Gon is a is twelve years old, and its dream is to become hunter. The hunters are adventurers of elite who can be hunters of premium, chief-cook, archaeologists, zoologists, dispensers of justice or consultants in various fields. His father, Jin Freecks, whom he does not know directly, is one of largest the hunters of his time. It is as to find him as Gon wants to become hunter.

However the examination of hunter, which takes place each year, is extremely difficult and dangerous. It is said that 1 candidate over 10.000 arrives on the place of the tests and that only one candidate every three years becomes hunter with his first attempt. During the tests, it is not rare to be wounded, even killed by monsters or even by other competitors.

Hayao Miyasaki

Hayao Miyazaki is currently one of the most famous creators of anime in the world. He remained largely unknown to the West, outside of animation communities, until Miramax released his 1997 Princess Mononoke.

The series primarily centers around a high school student who decides to rid the world of evil with the help of a supernatural notebook, the death note that kills anyone whose name is written in it.

The protagonist of Death Note, Raito ,aka Kira(killer), is an extremely intelligent but bored 17-year old student. When he finds the Death Note, dropped in the human world by Ryuku the shinigami-god of death, he decides to use it to kill all criminals and earns the title Kira. His ultimate goal is to create a world of justice and then reign over this new world as its god. He calls himself Justice. But to set up his new world, he will have to fight the brillant top ranked detective, L, who takes drastic strategies to confuse and force his opponents

Sailor Moon

The story revolves around the reincarnated defenders of a kingdom that once spanned the sp;ar system, and the evil forces that they battled.

Reincarnated into an ordinary schoolgirl, Usagi the heroine is found by a talking cat named. Through Luna, the talking cat, Usagi learns that the world is about to be attacked by a dark kingdom that had appeared long ago and destroyed the kingdom of moon. Her dormant powers are then awakened to defend the Earth against the coming onslaught, and she is led to a number of friends who join her in the battle.

The use of "Sailor" comes from a style of girls' school uniform popular in Japan, the "sailor outfit", after which the Senshi's uniforms are modeled. Fantastical elements in the series are heavily symbolic and often based on mythology

Usagi Tsukino

Usagi Tsukino is the main character of the series, called Serena in the English version of the anime.

At the beginning of the series she is portrayed as an immature crybaby who hates having to fight evil and wants nothing more than to be a normal girl. As she progresses, however, she embraces the chance to use her power to protect those she cares about. transforms into the heroine called Sailor Moon

Samurai Champloo

Samurai champloo is a mix of hip hop culture and the chambara- swords fight.






This anime tells the story of 2 samurais- Mugen and Jin- who decided to help a young orphan , Fuu, find back her father, a samurai that has the odor of sunflower.
