Sailor Moon

The story revolves around the reincarnated defenders of a kingdom that once spanned the sp;ar system, and the evil forces that they battled.
Reincarnated into an ordinary schoolgirl, Usagi the heroine is found by a talking cat named. Through Luna, the talking cat, Usagi learns that the world is about to be attacked by a dark kingdom that had appeared long ago and destroyed the kingdom of moon. Her dormant powers are then awakened to defend the Earth against the coming onslaught, and she is led to a number of friends who join her in the battle.
The use of "Sailor" comes from a style of girls' school uniform popular in Japan, the "sailor outfit", after which the Senshi's uniforms are modeled. Fantastical elements in the series are heavily symbolic and often based on mythology

You're right,
So many elements come from mythology...and reality too. This is what makes this manga so idyllic and powerful among young girls...And you also have some stories coming from fairy tales...like the idea of the charming Prince who always saves the Princess (that made me dream...)
